I read this once before but it's been awhile - I'm glad I reread it. I'd forgotten how good it is. I love the fact that Peter's reaction had so much reality to it. Too often, writers wave Caine's hand and all is better. While you used Caine to help him through the emergency he still had to deal w/ the after effects - so much more believable...and allowed for some really nice moments. This is a very fulfilling emotional read. Thank you for sharing!

Author's Response: Thanks dotti, I had a lot of fun writing it. Making Peter look at his fears and watch him overcome them helps me too.
