When I accidentally discovered KFTLC during late Season 2, I contacted my local TV station, who gave me an address for the official Fan Club, and I wrote off and got newsletters. That's how I discovered fanzines. Then I asked myself, could I write this? Oh, yeah!
After that, my good friend, Karen Judson, and I started the Coming of Age series. We produced the zine until David Carradine died in June 2009. I just could not write; a mourning period? 2009 was also the beginning of a multitude of crises and a new life as a "special needs family."
Cindy has been encouraging me over the years, and I've slowly started writing again. Somehow, I've managed to save my stories over the years. I do enjoy writing with my friend, Karen, and hopefully we will find that pattern again. Uploading the episodes has made me fall in love with the series all over again, and I am writing again.
